Tirzepatide (Active ingredient in Mounjaro & Zepbound) is a dual agonist that targets two hormones: GLP-1, which helps regulate blood sugar and reduce hunger, and GIP, which also supports insulin secretion. Dosing

Tirzepatide Dosing Protocol

Starting Dose:
2.5mg/3mg once weekly for 4 weeks.

Titration:
Increase to 5mg once weekly for at least 4 weeks.
If needed and tolerated, increase to 7.5mg, then 10mg weekly, and so on, each after 4 weeks.

Maintenance Dose: 5mg, 7.5mg, 10mg, 12.5mg, or 15mg once weekly.

Missed Dose: Take within 4 days; otherwise, skip and resume the regular schedule.
